SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2010 - the industry highlight of electric automation technology

 An annual must, SPS/IPC/DRIVES exhibition in Nürnberg is one of the most important international event in the calendars of automation technology specialists, engine manufacturers and OEMs. Also this year, over 52,000 visitors and 1,323 exhibitors informed themselves about the latest products and solutions as well as innovations and trends of the electric automation technology industry. The show attracts more and more international visitors every year, and this year already every fifth visitor came from outside Germany.
- The quality of contacts is always very high at SPS/IPC/DRIVES and because of its central location it offers a perfect playground to co-operate with our European partners. We are looking forward to coming back next year, says Tuomo Vuolle, export manager of Epec Oy.
SPS/IPC/DRIVES is the exhibition for electric automation technology. It covers all components down to complete systems and integrated automation solutions. SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2010 exhibition took place 23-25 November in Nürnberg, Germany. Our highlight at the stand was our new integrated EPC-i10 HMI to be used as a graphical user interface of mobile machines’ embedded control systems and as a vehicle computer. |

10 successful years in the Chinese markets

 Epec celebrated 10 years of co-operation in China together with our long-term partner Shanghai Pal-Fin Automation Control Co Ltd. Today, China is one of the most important growing sales markets for Epec. Aiming to further strengthen our presence in the Chinese markets, we attended this year´s Bauma exhibition on a large scale with a 300 square meters joint stand with our local partner Pal-Fin.
Bauma China 2010, the 5th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment took place 23-26 November in Shanghai. The exhibition consolidated it´s position as the leading trade show for the Chinese and Asian construction industry by breaking once again all records with regard to exhibition space and numbers of exhibitors as well as visitors.
- China´s construction machinery market has developed rapidly during past years and Bauma China offers a perfect platform to meet the new players as well as the existing customers. This year´s exhibition was a complete success for us. New Epec HMI device EPC-i10 received massive interest. EPC-i10 is going to be in batch production in the first part of year 2011 and we actually got remarkable offer- and delivery inquiries of this device to bring back home, says Vesa Ala-Mutka, Area Sales Manager of Epec.
During our visit to China, we also had a 10 year celebration party together with our partner Pal-Fin. After the last day of the exhibition, Shanghai Pal-Fin 2010 annual supplier conference took place at Shanghai SunShine Hotel. More than 50 suppliers attended this conference and Epec was proud to receive Best partner of the year award from Pal-Fin.
Bauma China 2010 exhibition was a comprehensive overview of the Chinese market and its potential and therefore a great place to establish new contacts. Beside over 1,858 exhibitors from 37 countries, Bauma China attracted this year more than 150,000 visitors from 165 countries. This represents an increase of 33 % compared to the last edition. After China, the top visitor countries were Korea, India, Japan, Russia, Malaysia, Brazil, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia – in that order.
